Headed out even though the weatherman said it shouldn't be done. Ended up with a 75 degree day and the water so calm you could've skied across Lake Borgne. Had the Gulf of Mexico to ourselves. Apparently the fish listened to the weather and stayed home. Managed to bring three nice trout home to my boy. Got two at Half Moon and the biggest of the lot at Oyster Bay. Just Another Speckled Sunday
Sunday January 4th.
